This is Marta De Filippis, architect.
I am a believer in: architecture for the common good, team efforts, details that matter, and coffee.
As an architect, I am currently working on large-scale projects in Germany. At the same time, I realize personal side-projects in order to pursue my interests in various fields.
Friends and colleagues would say that I am creative, positive, and helpful.

Monteverde market hall
Master thesis project.
Market hall in Monteverde district in Rome.
The building is not only a market but also a new public space for the inhabitants of the neighbourhood.
The project is based on the concept of sustainability in all its aspects, both environmental and social and economic.
Galgano abbey museum
Project competition.
New museum for San Galgano Abbey.
The project establishes a dialogue between past and present, between the contemporary museum and the historical pre-existence.
The design of the new volume is generated by the existing brick wall of the ancient cloister.

University project at TU Wien.
Masterplan and housing project for the district of Gretta in Triest.
In addition to the housing blocks, the project includes co-working spaces, a youth center and a market.
